CUTTER BIT
The cutter bit is the main cutting tool, arranged on both sides of the cutterhead opening slot, the cutting principle is the shield machine forward at the same time, the cutter with the cutter rotation on the excavation surface of the soil to produce axial (along the tunnel forward direction) shear force andradial (cutter rotation tangent direction) cutting force, in the cutter rotation, the cutter blade andcutter head partially inserted into the ground within the soil, and constantly cutting down the soil infront of the excavation. In the hard rock stratum under the cutter mainly plays the role of scrapingslag, not directly involved in cutting.
SIDE CUTTER
The side cutter works on the same principle as the cutter, which is mountedon the edge of the cutter plate and is usedto cut the soil on the outer perimeter toensure the diameter of the excavationsection. The cutter is mounted with boltsfor easy replacement.
PRE-CUTTING BITS
Pre-cutting bit (pilot cutter) is the first cutter to cut the soil body. Pre-cutting bit in the design of the main considerations and other cutting tool combinations work together. Pre-cutting bit is used to firstreduce the soil into blocks by coordinating with the cutter during construction, before the cutting ofthe tools so as to create good cutting conditions. It can increase the fluidity of the cutting soil, reduce the impact load of the cutter, reduce the cutting torque, reduce the wear of the cutter, improve the cutting efficiency.
CENTER CUTTER
It is installed in the center of thecutter head for the center section of theexcavation surface. It is divided into twotypes . It plays the role of centering andloosening the soil in the center part.
PROTECTION CUTTER
Protection Cutter bit can be divided into panelprotective cutter, grouting mouth protective cutter, cutterseatprotective cutter, diameter-preserving cutter,wear-resistant plate, bolt wear-resistant block according tothe installation position and use. Play the role of protectingthe cutter plate and cutter.
COPY CUTTER BIT
The copy cutter bit is arranged on the edge of the cutter head. During construction, the profiling cutter can be extended and retracted radially from the edge according to the amount andscope of over-excavation. When the shield machine advances, turns or corrects deviation in the curve section, the space required is created by cutting the soil body through the imitation over-excavation to ensure that the shield machine realizes curve advancement, smooth turning and deviation correction under the conditions of less over-excavation and less interference to the surrounding soil body.
