HDD backreamer teeth are weld-on tungsten carbide picks specially manufactured for horizontal directional drilling. The carbide tip is brazed onto alloy steel body, combining high hardness of tungsten carbide and good toughness of steel substrate. These HDD cutters deliver superior wear resistance and impact resistance for cutting clay, sand, gravel and soft rock strata. Easy to weld onto HDD backreamer and pilot bit. They are widely used in trenchless pipeline installation, for water, gas, electric cable and communication pipe projects. Custom sizes and carbide grades are acceptable.
