Mining bullet teeth, also known as coal cutter picks, are rotary cutting tools for underground mining and roadway tunneling. The carbide tip is made of virgin tungsten-cobalt alloy (brand-new raw material instead of recycled scrap carbide), delivering consistent microstructure, reliable hardness and balanced impact & wear resistance. The pick body is forged alloy steel processed by precise heat treatment. The tungsten carbide tip is brazed tightly to the steel shank.
Fitted to cutting drums of continuous miners, roadheaders and shearers, these bullet teeth cut coal seams, mudstone, soft rock and medium-hard rock. The conical profile enables self-rotation during operation, creating a self-sharpening effect. It keeps stable cutting penetration, lowers cutting resistance and extends service life.
| Item | Description (EN) | Remarks (EN) |
|---|---|---|
| Mining Bullet Tooth / Coal Cutter Pick | Conical mining cutting pick for underground excavation | Also called conical pick, mining cutter bit |
| Carbide Tip | Virgin tungsten-cobalt alloy sintered with new powder | Better performance than recycled carbide material |
| Pick Body | Forged alloy steel with heat treatment | High impact toughness, anti-breakage |
| Working Characteristic | Self-rotating conical structure with self-sharpening effect | Maintains stable cutting force while cutting coal and rock |
| Matching Machinery | Continuous miner, roadheader, shearer | For underground coal mining and roadway tunneling |
| Applicable Strata | Coal seam, mudstone, soft rock, medium-hard sandstone and coal-rock mixed formation | Not suitable for highly abrasive ultra-hard rock |
